Solitaire was one of the most popular card games back in the day but now it has since gone on to experience a resurgence thanks to its popularity online. Now it is known as klondike solitaire & it's a bit different from the one you know & love. This one now has a timer so the quicker you finish the game, the higher your score will be. The highest score you earn will be put on a hard drive so you can go back & look at them whenever you want. You can even host your own tournament with friends & family if you want & this will help the popularity of the game to spread across the world. One of the best features of the game is the fact that no matter where you are in the world, you can play with anyone you want so long as they have a computer connected to the internet. So for those who do not know, here's how to play. The game uses just one pack of cards which is 52 in total & it is up to you to get them all in the right place. After the cards have been shuffled, they are placed into a stock, waste pile, foundations & tableau. The last card in all of the tableaus should always be face up while the rest remain face down. As soon as a new card comes to the bottom of the tableau, it should be turned over. The idea is you want to build 4 different foundations in order of the numbers. So a queen should be right below a king, a jack should be below the queen, the ten should be right under the jack & so on & so forth. It doesn't matter what suit it is as long as it goes in numerical order. When you find each ace, you can move it over to the foundation to start the sequence. Some go in ascending order but most of them go the other way. There is often a limit to the number of times you can use the waste pile but as long as it gets you where you want to go, that's the most important part. When there are no more moves, this is usually known as a bust but if you get all 4 foundations, that's how you know you have emerged victorious.
