Cake Sort
Cake Sort is a sorting game that features play similar to block and tile sorting games. The player is a pastry worker who must complete specific dessert arrangements in a shop.
The game displays empty plates on a wood table decorated with a blue plaid tablecloth. A stainless steel rectangular tray with a set of three stacks of mixed desserts rests below the table. The initial desserts aren't slices of cake. Instead, the player sorts blueberry, cherry, kiwi, lemon, strawberry and other fruit-filled pies.
The player attempts to sort the stacks to create new ones that contain only one type of dessert per stack. To complete this task, they must move the stacks into adjacent positions so that the top desserts transfer automatically to nearby stacks that have the same type. They don't receive new stacks on the tray until they use a complete set.
Cake Sort attempts to distract the player with large achievement notifications in the upper-right corner. For example, the player receives appreciation notices for achieving specific scores and performing combos. They also receive new career titles, such as Pastry Chef.
How To Play
Position stacks with matching top desserts into adjacent positions. Wait for the game to auto-sort the desserts. Continue to sort stacks for as long as possible. Always look carefully at the colors of the edges of the desserts in a stack. Some stacks contain mixed fillings that have different colors. For example, a stack of pies might contain one or more blueberry-cherry pies, which the game reveals with blue and red colors. Earn the highest score possible and all new career titles.
