Bubble Pop Balloons

Bubble: Pop Balloons, a bubble-popping game, has gameplay mechanics similar to tile-matching games like Melodic Tiles and Tiles of the Simpsons instead of classic bubble shooters. It also features relaxation components that include the brief appearance of color-matched smoke after popping a set of balloons and Pop-It-style sounds. The player's goals are to play as long as possible and earn the highest score. If they lose a game, then they attempt to beat their previous score.

The balloons appear as neon-colored buttons similar to hanging bubble shooter patterns but disconnected with dark space between each one. The bubble balloons also fill the entire 16 columns wide by 10 columns high grid. The balloons only pop when the player selects two or more matching side-by-side or stacked ones. The game doesn't permit the popping of a single balloon or any balloons in diagonal positions.

When the player makes a selection, the bubble balloons pop, and any that remain above the spot in the column or columns drop down into the gaps. If the player clears an entire column, the remaining bubbles to the right of the gap slide left, and a new column of bubbles appears on the far right side.

Bubble: Pop Balloons ends the game when the player has no more matching options. It then lists their all-time best score and prompts them to try again.

How To Play

Check the grid for two or more adjacent horizontal or vertical color-matched bubble balloons. Select only one to start the popping process. Wait for the smoke to clear. Make additional selections based on different strategies. For example, imagine where the remaining balloons in a column might appear on the grid after a selection and plan around the movements. To enjoy popping noises without popping the bubble balloons, select a single one repeatedly.

Controls

Mouse: Click buttons. To pop two or more adjacent bubble balloons, select one with a click.
Mobile: Tap buttons. To pop a cluster of balloons, select one with a tap.
