Sort Store

Sort Store is a timed sorting game that explores a stock clerk's role in a retail store. Someone has stocked wooden shelving units in a local shop with a mix of disorganized merchandise. Since it's easier to restock empty units with items grouped together and customers want to see an organized product layout, the player is tasked with rearranging the items to create three-product sets. Their secondary goal is to earn a high score from basic play and combo streaks.

The game features more than 140 items that become available as the player progresses through different levels and faces easy-to-hard challenges. The food-related merchandise includes beverages, baked goods, cereal, condiments, desserts, fruits and vegetables. The store also carries common household items, such as candles, cleaning supplies, cosmetics, decks of cards, flashlights, home furniture, office products and toys.

The most difficult aspects of the game are a timer in the upper-left area and barriers to the sorting process. The player often receives little time to complete their work. Additionally, they must often deal with barriers, such as chains and metal signs that block some shelves and wood panels that block two sorting spots per shelf. The size of the shelving unit and the number of mixed items also increase over time.

Unlike in the real world, Sort Store provides the player with three magical tools that make the sorting process faster. The player can use a light bulb to prompt three matching items to pulse in place, an alarm clock to add 30 seconds to the countdown timer, and a star wand to transform random items into identical golden stars. They must view ads to use these tools.

How To Play

Review the items at the front of each shelf. Use any gaps for temporary placement of some items. Create sets of three identical items on a shelf. If necessary, use the magical tools. Repeat this process until no more items remain in the shelving unit.

Controls

Mouse: Click buttons. To move an item into a new position, click and drag the mouse.
Mobile: Tap buttons. To rearrange items, tap and drag the finger or stylus.
