Block Dropping Merge
Block Dropping Merge is a 2048 merge game. The player drops pairs of number-matched blocks down six alternating taupe and black columns marked with gray arrows in a container. Their goal is to create higher-numbered blocks via merge play and earn a high score and coin balance.
The game provides the player with a preview of the next three blocks above the columns. The rightmost block always drops next. The player can wait for a block to drop slowly down an auto-selected column or manually select one to make it drop quickly into a specific position.
The player only creates a higher-numbered block when they drop a block next to or on top of an identical one. If they drop a block into position adjacent to two matching blocks, then all three blocks merge.
Over time, the player can create blocks marked with numbers higher than 2048. The game helps them achieve this goal faster by eliminating the lowest-numbered block from the dropping sequence any time it adds a new high-numbered one.
Block Dropping Merge flashes a red warning when the player allows non-matching blocks to stack too high near the top of one or more columns. The player can remove these blocks several ways. They can buy a double-arrow booster that allows them to merge blocks by swapping two in any column and container position. They can purchase a hammer that breaks one block, which shortens a stack. Lastly, they can pay coins to use a rescue option that takes out several rows of blocks.
