Puppy Merge

Puppy Merge is a merge game in the Suika subcategory that offers a surprisingly fun twist. The player's goals are to merge identical puppy heads to transform each pair into a bigger new breed and earn a high score.

In Suika games, the player controls a claw that holds an object above a container that serves as the merge field. They direct the movement of the claw and time of the drop. With this game, they don't control these areas at all. Instead, the game rapidly drops the heads in different random positions. The player then uses their cursor and controls to merge identical ones inside the container.

The heads bounce around like balls and only weigh as much as bubbles. As a result, if the player allows too many to pile up or causes a bouncing impact at the wrong angle, one or more heads then bounce or fly out of the container, and the game ends. That said, they can free up space by sliding the heads around inside the container and even lifting heads to meet falling ones. They can also grab a head that's about to fall out and put it back into the container.

Lastly, Puppy Merges provides the player with a bonus tool marked with a dog bone on the right side of the screen to help them slow down the action for a few seconds and prevent accidents. They gain access to it by catching five cats that appear and disappear quickly in the background or viewing ad videos.

How To Play

Select a puppy head and slide it into a matching one. To prevent a pileup, perform merges as quickly as possible. Catch the cats or view videos. Use the dog bone. 

Controls

Mouse: Click buttons and cats. To merge one puppy head with another one, click and slide the mouse.
Mobile: Tap interactive elements. To merge heads, tap and slide the finger or stylus.
