Sorting Balls
Sorting Balls is a sorting game in the laboratory and test tube subcategory. The player's only goal is to perform one-color storage of mixed shiny glass marbles in test tubes against a dark backdrop across levels. The game challenges the player by increasing the number of colors and balls over time.
Each level displays two or more test tubes filled with stacks of marbles. A level might also have one or more empty test tubes. A stack of marbles can contain mini-stacks of two or more adjacent color-matched balls.
The player sorts the balls across the containers based on matching colors. They can only place one or more matching balls in a space at the top of a stack. The topmost ball in a mixed-color stack must have the same color as the transferred marble or marbles. The player can also transfer any marble or one-color mini-stack to an empty container.
Sorting Balls automatically splits a mini-stack when the player attempts to place it in a space that doesn't have enough room. For example, when a stack only has enough space for one transferred marble, the game automatically leaves one ball behind from a two-ball mini-stack.
That said, the game also offers the player ways to fix and prevent mistakes. The player can undo up to five moves for free. If they're willing to view ad videos, they can continue to use the undo tool. They can also add extra empty test tubes to the backdrop.
How To Play
Review the colors in the marble stacks and spaces. Transfer a color-matched top marble or mini-stack to a space above a stack or an empty test tube. Before sorting the balls, imagine the outcomes of multiple moves several steps ahead. Use the tools.
