Ultimate Tic Tac Toe Multiplayer is a prediction or solved-puzzle game based on classic Tic Tac Toe. With a bit of luck and strategic gameplay, the player attempts to complete a three-letter or four-letter horizontal, vertical or diagonal line using the same letter (blue X or orange O) on a 3x3, 5x5 or 7x7 grid.
The player can take on the game's CPU or play a friend in 2 Players mode. They can also play against a global online player during a random or custom match. If they play using the 3x3 grid, they must create a three-letter line. If they play with the 5x5 or 7x7 grid, they win by creating a four-letter line.
Ultimate Tic Tac Toe Multiplayer rewards the player with star points. If they earn the points by playing via one mode, such as global online multiplayer, the points update to the other mode. All points accumulate as a total across modes. If the match results in a draw, the player still wins star points. The only time they don't receive points is if they lose a match.
The game also allows the player to review their last match to learn where they might have played better with a different predictive strategy. To review the screenshot, they use a button marked with an open eye.
