Mixagram is a word search puzzle game that uses letter tiles instead of a grid. In a daily puzzle mode, it features three rounds per game. The player must create a specific number of three-, four- and five-letter words by searching letter tiles at the top of the playfield. The player wins if they complete all rounds.
The player starts with gray tiles and white letters against a white background. That said, they can switch to a dark mode by selecting the black crescent moon icon near the upper-right corner. Once they've chosen their lighting mode, they start to create words using the tiles.
Mixagram doesn't penalize the player at all for spelling out nonsensical words. They merely need to keep guessing until they fill each gray field below the answer area. If they can't guess a word, they can use the Skip button to mark a word field as "SKIPPED." If they need help, they can also use a Shuffle button to rearrange the letters to help them see possible other letter combinations.
Unlike many other word search games, Mixagram allows the player to reuse letters multiple times for the same word. For example, if they receive the letters M, E, D, O and G, they can use "MOO" and "MOM" for three-letter words or "DOOM" and "GOOD" for four-letter ones.
