Cooking Connect

Cooking Connect is a timed connect-style tile-matching game in the Mahjong tradition. Across 40 levels, the player removes all cooking-themed tiles from playfields by matching pairs. They earn two stars for every match.

The player receives white tiles marked with drawings of kitchen items, including cutting boards, frying pans, hand mixers, manual citrus juicers, mixing bowls, oven mitts, stand mixers, tea sets, toasters, and utensils. They can only connect adjacent matching tiles or pairs separated by no more than three gray lines or two 90-degree angles along edges and across gaps.

Over time, Cooking Connect makes play more complex by increasing the number of tiles and creating different tile patterns. It also issues temporary notifications about special hidden achievements in the top-right corner on white banners that can distract the player and cost them critical seconds of time they need to match all the tiles.

That said, the game also provides a hint button marked with a permanent magnifier in the top-right corner. Additionally, it automatically shuffles any remaining pairs of tiles that the player can't link with connecting lines to help them find new ways to complete matches.

How To Play

Review the distribution of the tiles. Find side-by-side and stacked matches first and then remove the pieces from the playfield. Keep in mind that edge matches can occur off the sides of the background. Select these matches next. Match the remaining pairs across gaps using no more than three connecting lines or two right angles. If necessary, select the hint button to highlight a pair of matching tiles. Wait for the game to automatically deduct the cost of using the button from the balance of collected stars. Continue to play to earn more stars. Unlock and complete all the levels.
