Bubble Shooter Pro 2, the second installment in the Bubble Shooter Pro series, provides even more challenges for self-competitive play. It continues to feature rows of bubbles that the player must remove with bubble projectiles. The player also earns points when the bubbles break. Their goal is to earn the highest score possible.
In Pro 2, the game slides row after row of bubbles quickly down the dark blue playfield instead of presenting the player with traditional foul play. They need to knock the bouncy bubbles from the rows before any that remain hanging reach the bottom of the screen. The game helps the player by providing them with a targeting line made of dots that matches the color of the projectile. The player knocks the bubbles by hitting two or more linked matching ones.
The bubbles then drop into point categories separated by walls in a rewards zone that starts with 50 | 100 | 250 | 100 | 50. If the player does extremely well, the point amounts increase in this zone. For example, the game might increase the points to 60 | 120 | 300 | 120 | 60 or 75 | 150 | 350 | 150 | 75. If the player performs well with an "on-fire" streak of non-stop bubble hits, represented as an increasing number in the Combo area, the area catches fire and the possible points even reach 1,000.
Bubble Shooter Pro 2 rewards the player in other ways. The player receives bombs in an onscreen present and random fireballs. It also gives them positive words and emojis when they perform well.
