In the Bubble Shooter Pro bubble-popping series, Bubble Shooter Pro 4 presents a player with new eternal shooting challenges. Against a dark blue playfield bordered by lighter royal blue panels, the player's primary goal is to shoot projectile bubbles at a sliding wall of multicolored bubbles until they run out of moves. They also attempt to outplay and overtake other players by earning points, bonus points and fun gifts.
The player tracks their score near the upper-left area above the field. They receive bonus points for combination moves and streaks. They can track their streak and multiplier count below their score. To the right of this area, they can track their position against other players and the score they need to win a gift.
The bubbles in BS Pro 4 act like balls. The player knocks clusters of balls from the wall with a matching projectile using a color-matched dotted targeting line to aim the shot. They can only knock away clusters of three or more identical balls and any connected non-matching ones at a time. When the balls hit the bottom of the field, each one bounces around and then falls into a zone marked with a specific point number. If they fail to make a cluster, the available points in every zone decrease, and they lose their multiplier for streaks.
If the player performs well with a streak, they earn a fireball that can destroy a line of bubbles of any color. The points zones also increase in size to award more points. Over time, they earn a golden bomb booster to remove large clusters of multicolored bubbles.
