Clusterz

Clusterz! is a competitive bubble-shooting game. The player competes level by level against other online players in player-versus-player scenarios to clear their playfield of all bubbles and earn the top score. 

Similar to Bubblez!, this game penalizes the player in a unique way. Instead of dropping bubbles onto the field with every hit, the game randomly changes bubble colors and generates new clusters of bubbles whenever the player fails to pop a cluster. The player can't shoot and pop black bubbles. These objects serve as obstacles that sometimes block the player from directly targeting a cluster.

The keys to winning this game, beyond using a projectile to pop a cluster of two or more linked matching bubbles, are fast shooting and the ability to remain focused on clearing the field. The game challenges the player by presenting their opponent's real-time action on the right side of the screen. Although checking the other player's progress now and then can help the player gauge their speed, they can also lose precious seconds that might cost them the match.

Clusterz! only allows the player to move on to the next level if they win. As a result, they must use their speed and various strategies. For example, they might purposely fail to pop bubbles with a shot to expand their target area around a black bubble with penalty bubbles.

How To Play

Check the projectile color against the field bubbles that are easiest to hit. Pop bubbles with any shot or set up a future one. If possible, use the side walls to perform angled shots. Work quickly. Fail to expand the target area. Wait to check the other player's progress until an opportunity opens up for a brief check, such as after making a mistake or when nearly finished with the level.

Controls

Mouse: Click buttons. To position the cursor above a target and shoot, slide the mouse and click.
Mobile: Tap buttons. To target anything on the field, slide the stylus or finger and tap.
