Balloons Around
Balloons Around is a bubble shooter with a unique geometric pattern setup similar to Balloons Rhombics and Bubble Pyramids. The player shoots bubble balloons arranged in hexagon-shaped rows on a grid that features hexagon-shaped cells. Their goal is to remove all balloons and earn the most points possible.
The player shoots bubble-balloon projectiles that appear at the center of the grid. They aim each shot with a color-matched laser targeting line. As with classic bubble shooters, they simply shoot a projectile at two or more adjacent chains or clusters of matching bubble balloons. When they hit a target, the balloons become bubbles that rapidly float off the top of the screen. Any non-matching ones connected only to a targeted chain or cluster also float away.
Balloons Around attempts to distract the player. With each shot, it makes bubbles of different sizes and colors on the background appear and disappear randomly. That said, the player receives two main tools to make play easier. They can create shooting strategies by reviewing a preview of the next projectile's color in the lower-left corner. They also receive three passes in the upper-right corner that allow them to miss a shot three times before they receive a penalty. If they use up their passes, the game adds one or more new rows of bubble balloons to the hexagon pattern.
How To Play
Review the colors of the connected chains and clusters of bubble balloons closest to the central shooter and projectile. Aim the laser targeting line and then shoot. Use the preview projectile to guide shooting decisions. Always try to prevent mistakes that eventually cause the insertion of one or more penalty rows.
